Use of cookies

What are cookies ?

A cookie is a file stored by a server on the User’s computer that enables the User’s browsing data to be collected: some are necessary because they make browsing easier, while others are used to gather information about the User for targeted advertising.

Cookies may be ‘third party’ or ‘internal’:

Internal’ cookies are placed by the Site visited by the User, more specifically on the Site’s domain. They may be used for the proper operation of the Site or to collect personal data in order to monitor the User’s behaviour and for advertising purposes;

Third-party’ cookies are cookies placed on domains other than that of the main Site, generally managed by third parties who have been asked by the Site visited and not by the User himself: these cookies may also be necessary for the proper operation of the Site but they are mainly used to enable the third party to see which pages have been visited on the Site in question by the User and to collect information about him, particularly for advertising purposes.

Managing cookies from the management module :

When a User visits the Site for the first time, a web banner appears on the page. The banner informs the User that Hortival Diffusion uses cookies and links the User to this page.

The Axeptio banner allows the User to choose which cookies to accept and which to reject on the Site.

Axeptio is a reliable and secure consent management platform (CMP), which allows the User to easily accept or revoke their consent to cookies on the Site.

To accept or revoke consent to cookies on the Site, the User must follow the steps below:

Cookie banner: When a User arrives at the Site managed by Axeptio, he/she will see a cookie banner offering to accept or reject cookies. This banner is designed to comply with cookie regulations, such as the RGPD. The User may click on the options provided to accept or refuse cookies.

Accept cookies: If a User wishes to accept cookies, they click on the appropriate option in the cookie banner. Once the User has accepted cookies, Axeptio records the User’s consent on the Site and stores this information in an online database.

Revoking Consent : If a User wishes to revoke their consent at a later time, they may do so by accessing their web browser settings. They should look for the confidentiality or cookies options in their browser settings and follow the instructions given there.

Cookie management using browsing software

Users can configure their browser software so that cookies are stored on their computer (or portable device, tablet, etc.) or rejected: either systematically or depending on the sender.

Users are informed that they may refuse to accept cookies by configuring their browser software. For information, the User can find the steps to follow to configure their browser software to prevent cookies being saved at the following addresses:

Should a User decide to deactivate cookies, they may continue to browse the Site. However, any malfunction of the Site caused by this manipulation cannot be considered to be the fault of the site editor.

Cookies strictly necessary for the site to function

These “necessary” cookies enable the site’s main services to function optimally. Users can technically block them using their browser settings, but the experience on the Site may be degraded.

In particular, these cookies make it possible to recognize a User, to indicate when a User has visited a particular page, and thus to improve the User’s browsing experience: adapting the presentation of the Site to the display preferences of the User’s terminal (language used, display resolution), memorizing passwords and other information relating to a form that the User has filled in on the Site. They are also used to implement security measures.

These cookies cannot be deactivated or configured, otherwise the User will no longer be able to access the Site and/or its services.

Only the issuer of the cookie concerned is likely to read or modify the information contained therein.

Technical cookies are necessary for navigation on our site, and for access to the various products and services.
