Born from a hybridization program initiated in 2013, this magnificent shrub is the result of 12 years of careful observation and rigorous cultivation trials. This Chaenomeles is perfect for gardening enthusiasts wishing to add an exceptional plant to their collection.
It produces large, vivid double red flowers with a golden-yellow heart, delivering a spectacular burst of color. Highly floriferous, it blooms before the leaves appear, along the entire stem, and is completely thornless.
When spring is mild, you can enjoy at least two blooming periods, each lasting three weeks. The first occurs in March, when the flowers open before the foliage emerges, offering a decorative display that heralds the arrival of spring. The second bloom, in May, coincides with the presence of foliage, creating a striking contrast between the lush green leaves and the scarlet-red blossoms.
